Our health clubs are a comprehensive and progressive service that we can offer. We have two health clubs in total covering different species and also a discussion group for our future farmers.
Calf Health Club
The Calf Health Club is designed to fine tune your calf rearing, identify areas for improvement and monitor calf health. The calf health club is aimed at getting the best out of your calves and to ensure good calf health on your farm. The club is a monthly subscription price of £25. The below bullet points highlight just a few of the benefits of the club:
- Two annual calf health vets visits
- Construction of a calf health plan (suitable for Red Tractor, FABBL etc)
- 20 free total protein tests per year, to assess colostrum antibody transfer
- Reduction in additional total protein test – cost £2 per sample, compared
to normal price of £3.50 - Growth rate measuring of calves by our vet tech every month
- Quarterly data analysis and advice update by vet
- Qualification for reduction in hourly rate fees
- Potential for improved calf health and profitability

The aim of the club is to provide cost effective access to veterinary advice and services to support your enterprise. We would like to offer pro-active planning and performance enhancing services rather than fire brigade sorting of disasters after they have happened.
